Open-access <span name="style_bold">Cyberbodies</span>: <span name="style_bold">youth and sexuality in postmodernism</span>

This essay presents some theoretical positions in relation with youth and sexuality in the postmodernity based on gender theories, addressed in the project “Sexual Attitudes of young students of psychology” belonging to the line of research “Woman, Man and Society” of the Universidad Antonio Nariño of Colombia in the years 2011 and 2012. We will address issues such as sexuality, sexual education, body and youth in relation with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). It deals with Implications of ties technology - sexuality, the impact on young people, the role of school in sexual education and the body category to envision both risk practices and the possibilities of transition to cyber identities. It is concluded that virtual media permit the transit to cybernetic identities although of normative sexuality are maintained. This is the reason why the school becomes a place of knowledge and respect for the sexual identities.
