Traumatic cervical pathology and its relationship to the work of forensic medicine is of great importance and relevance, especially when it is necessary to make assessments in patients with cervical changes and must be defined if they are in relation to a specific trauma or repetitive in time as may occur in some cases of occupational hazards. The medical examiner must be very well prepared, know the anatomy of the cervical and upper limbs, perform an examination and a thorough neurological physical examination to guide the diagnostic possibilities, it is also fundamental analysis of diagnostic studies. In this particular case there will be a review of cervical radiculopathy, pathophysiology, mechanisms of production and the medico-legal implications when doing the assessment in patients with cervical braquial pain
