Open-access Literature of self-reflection: Theoretical reflections and author perspectives in theautobiographical gender

Abstract

The literature of the "self-reflection" has gained great importance in the literary studys. Since "The Pac Autobiographic" of Philippe Lejeune, to "The Narrative Adentity" of Paul Ricoeur, and "Autobiography as De-facement"of Paul De Man, theorists have tried to explain the nature of this type of texts ¿are they history? ¿are they fiction? The answers are variant, the have tried to locate these texts in one plane or another. Dorrit Cohn for example, sees that the reader is the one who grant the historical or fictional value.

But the autobiography is history, autobiography is also fiction. In these texts dialogue both speeches amalgaaims to make a comprehensive review of the main theories to finally make a separate proposal. A proposal that part of the dialogue between the different disciplines.
